Prostitution

Prostitution is engaging in sexual acts for money. It is known as the oldest profession in the world. Prostitution should be legal. It is a very simple issue: the actual act, a prostitute and her customer agreeing on an exchange of money for sex, violates no one's rights, and does not directly harm anyone else. Thus, it should be legal. However, some people do not seem to have clarity on the issue, and want to bring in lots of personal opinions and hogwash about how prostitution promote drug-use, violence, STDs, etc. In fact, it is anti-prostitution laws which promote all of these things. Prostitution is not a major source of sexual transmitted disease. Only 3-5% of STDs are prostitution-related, compared to 30-35% which is teen-related. This suggests that they are not particularly vulnerable to STDs. This is probably because prostitutes are highly aware of safe-sex, as it is a necessity in their business, and always use condoms and other devices to make sex safer.

Tattoos

Art history expert, Andrea Mulder-Slater defined a tatoo as a picture or image that tells a story without using words. Tattoo is an art which has emerged over a period of time and gained respect among people. It has been suggested that symbols such as paintings and carvings were man’s earliest forms of communication. They have been used in the form of tattoos. Tattoos are used by people from all walks of life. They are also used by youngsters who are trying to make themselves appear different from people of different generation. For some it is an expression of freedom where as for others it is a way of attracting attention. Some people wear tattoos with religious significance expressing their religious verses.

DRUGS

Cocaine powder, freebase and crack are all forms of cocaine. They are stimulants with powerful, but short-lived, effects. Stimulants temporarily speed up the processes of your mind and body. ‘Freebase’ cocaine and ‘crack’ cocaine, can be smoked, and so can reach the brain very rapidly in high dosage. Snorted powder cocaine is absorbed more slowly. Hence, smoked freebase or crack tends to be much stronger and more addictive than snorted powder cocaine. However, all forms of cocaine prepared for injection (whether powder cocaine or crack) can also reach the brain rapidly in high doses and so can be very addictive too.

Slang: Street names for drugs can vary around the country. For powder cocaine – coke, Charlie, C, white, Percy, snow, toot. For crack – rocks, wash, stones, pebbles, base, freebase

Smoking

1. Somking increases concentration.
2. Smoking reduces stress and anxiety. The calming effects of a constant niccotine supply in the bloodstream reduces the amount of stress and anxiety that can couse heart condtions and ulcers.
3. Smoking helps support the economy. The less people that smoke the less demand for cigarettes this would result in tobacco farmers and cigarete factories would close down and there will not be any revenue for the government.
4. Smokers have the only real community that's left in the workplace today.
5. Smokers suffer from less stress, since they actually take a few breaks per day.
6. That theory about second hand smoking has never been proved. it's just a phrase made up to get normal people who earlier didn't care about it, to go and further persecute the smokers.
7. It's cool to smoke. Ever seen a hacker or a real artist with a health shake?
8. Smokers support the economy by paying all those taxes, which *AHEM* some of us don't.

9. The Surgeon General fails to warn you that non-smokers die every day
10. Studies have shown that prolonged contact (as in several years) with second hand smoking can cause mild lung problems. Second hand smoke has no immediate harmful effects.

Infidelity

Infidelity might be morally wrong but there are several reasons which contribute to it. David Atkins, a marriage councillor identified some of the reasons as (1) obsession with work and fail to get time for each other; (2) Sex between married couples become too routine and predictable. (3) Living together can be monotonous and tedious. (4) Men seeks extramarital affairs for sexual reasons while women indulge in then for emotional reasons. It is a couple’s responsibility to look after each other’s sexual and emotional needs to prevent infidelity. http://www.medindia.net/patients/lifestyleandwellness/infidelity-reasons.htm

10 reasons why polygamy really does work

1Polygamy instigates social stability. After the Crusades many men had died and women were often left alone without any support and without means of survival. Men took it upon themselves to marry numerous women to rebuild communities and reduce poverty. While the context has changed dramatically over the last five hundred years, the Middle East is still rife with internal conflict and there are comparatively far too many women for the society to support without the practice of polygamy helping them gain financial support for their children and for their education.

>>

2. Polygamy is the answer to unfaithful marriages. Christianity does not endorse cheating, but in countries such as the UK, USA, and Australia, where Christianity is the most prevalent religion, 50-60% of married citizens claim to have indulged in extra-marital affairs. Polygamy keeps sex within the family home and while the women in these marriages can not look to sex outside of their relationship with their husband, everyone can rest assured (to a greater extent) that sex is transparent within this relationship.

3.

3. Polygamy emphasises equal recognition of women. A man is not allowed to found a polygamous family and must remain monogamous unless he can be completely scrupulous with the equal division of time, resources, money, and education between each of his wives and their families.

4.

4. Polygamy makes more biological sense than monogamy and polyandry. Zealous feminists (or men who have a lot of respect for women… bless their hearts) may ask why women shouldn't attempt to secure more than one husband if the opposite is morally viable. I myself pondered this question, but when it comes to procreation women's health is of critical importance for 9 month sessions at a time, and a long cue would form for men to impregnate the female in question

5. Polygamy is undeniably healthier for you! STDs are not rampant in the Middle East, statistics show this, particularly compared to Western nations or southern African nation states. Because all sexual acts are effectively supposed to take place within the confines of marriage, the risk of disease occurring and spreading from social group to social group is almost decimated.

6. Polygamy creates a support network for women and their children. In the West, as a result of working parents, children often have to go to daycare and grow up being taught by individuals outside of the family. Mum and Dad work full-time, they are exhausted when they return home after 10 hours at PWC, they collapse in front of the t.v. and watch the Biggest Loser, then they check their emails and go to bed. Arab culture places a heightened emphasis on the family as an institution and praises women as the focal point of the family sphere. Polygamy makes men a part of every aspect of the pregnancy process but acknowledges that there are just some things that men can not comprehend, and thus provides extra support with the wives.

7. Big families can still exist. It is widely acknowledged that Italy now has the lowest birth rate in Europe; why are the Catholics letting down their Pope?? In Australia we have similarly seen the advent of the one child family, a phenomenon that leads to an empty house, a lack of cousins, a boring family atmosphere.

8. Men MUST take responsibility for their actions. There are plenty of men out there who are irresponsible with their relationships, their sex lives, and their semen. Under the model of polygamy, this is not the case. There are hundreds of thousands of men out there in Europe and the Americas who have fathered children and yet don't pay child support or refuse to recognize that the child is their own. Within polygamy it is imperative that each woman a man has sex with, he must commit to on a spiritual level, an emotional level, a contractual level, and a financial level.

<

9. Women can have a brilliant career, and bring up well-adjusted children. Not every woman feels like preparing dinner for the family after a long day at work. If one wife in a polygamous house is working more than the others, another wife will decide to take care of her children during the day and will cook for all of the families at night.

>>

10. Polygamy forces disrespectful jerks to reform. In a polygamous society, since there are more single men (because there are less women available) there is more competition between males to win the affection of females. This means that guys have no choice but to work on their charisma, they have to fine-tune their treatment of women, and they have to work harder to establish good reputations in their careers and in their communities.
